Sam and Rosie

We got to celebrate in a big way the last month of May. Samuel and his cousin Rosie were born within several weeks of each other, and the stars aligned to allow for my entire immediate family to converge upon my house to celebrate the occasion. Since Samuel was 3+ months by the time of the gathering I had made a full recovery and we eagerly anticipated the arrival of my family. Squeezing 19 people into our house was cozy, often loud, and very fun, but as the time arrived to actually make 20 of my closest family members arrive to 8:30 church for a baby blessing, I began to be truly, truly nervous. So nervous in fact, that I called the bishop and made arrangements to bless the babies at our home. A member of the bishopric was kind enough to come over and preside, and we had a wonderful little service at our home that Sunday afternoon and blessed our newest familial treasures.

I am so grateful for mini man Sam, and the wonderful addition he is to our little family! Thanks to all of my family for making the trek out here to share it with us!

Those babies look so cute. How fun to have cousins close in age so they can be great friends.

We are so glad that Rosie could share her special day with little Sam. And thanks so much for hosting us all at your house. It was a blast as always :)

That is great that your family was all there. What a party!

We had our babies' blessing at home too. A lot less stress on the mom, that is for sure.

What a wonderful memory. We had a similar experience with Abby. We blessed her in the home. It was really a nice day.

Thanks for posting all those fun pictures!

That was such a neat weekend/baby blessing.
And it'll make all our other lesser get togethers seem like a breeze now...get ready!!
