Carving Pumpkins

You are never sure how your child is going to react to an activity like scooping innards out of a pumpkin. It is, after all, a messy, slimy strange tradition. Cora loved it!

For Family Home Evening we carved up a Jack o'Lantern and had a great time. In only a few seconds Cora was up on the table, and up to her armpits in pumpkin. She and Brian scooped it out, and made a design. She was especially enamored when we put the candle in.

You will have to excuse Cora's ragged appearance... she was still sick and was quite tired of me trying to wipe her nose all day...
