Austria!

While we are here my mom is going to Austria for part of school and me and my sister Cora are coming with her. Me and Cora are making a brochure for Austria. A brochure is something that is folded into three pieces with info on them about a place. When I searched up some animals that live in Austria they have a ton of cool animals but one of my favorites is a pine marten. A pine marten is a small creature that is about the size of a domestic cat that lives in Austria and some parts of America. They're 46 centimeters long and 2.8 pounds when fully grown. You can research them more if you want or you can look below at some facts about them. On the brochure I wrote about the main facts and animals, my sister wrote about the landmarks, plants and geography. Do you want to learn some fun facts about Austria? Austria has the voted best city to live in in the world, pretty cool, right? One of the places I want to go to is worthreese, It has clear blue water and lots of wildlife all around you, but we won't be able to go there because it is super far away from where we are staying.

Pine marten facts

In Austria there are tons of interesting animals, one of my favorites is a pine marten. There is also deer and stag and rabbits. A pine marten is about the size of a domestic cat and a light or dark brown fur with a yellow to mustard yellow fur under its throat. You aren't allowed to have one as a pet but you can observe them in the wild. They're fur is super fluffy! You may think they're so cute and fluffy like I do but they have razor sharp teeth and claws. They're mainly active during the night and dusk and 46 cm long. They weigh about 2.8 pounds and have quite an appetite for a creature they're size. pine martens eat fungi, fruit, insecte, small rodents such as voles. The one thing that surprised me most was that they eat bird eggs. PIne martens are super good climbers but they get most of their food off of the ground. Anyways, that is all you need to know about adorable cute pine martens!
